On October 18, an opening ceremony of the 90th General Assembly of the Interpol was held in New Delhi, India

On October 16, discussions on the review of the organization's activities and the conclusion of the final agenda of the 90th session of the General Assembly were held in New Delhi, India.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the 90th General Assembly of the Interpol with a ceremonial welcome address. After that, ICPO Interpol President Ahmed Nasir Al-Raisi welcomed the participants and opened the session according to the approved agenda, which included a wide range of issues related to combating the most dangerous types of transnational crime, coordinating police cooperation, and ensuring the effective functioning of Interpol. Also, Mr. Jurgen Stock, the Secretary General of Interpol, in his speech, focused on increasing and expanding their capacity in the fight against transnational crime to strengthen peace.

The Uzbek delegation of the National Central Bureau of Interpol is also participating in this important event, which was held simultaneously to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India's Independence. The delegates of 166 member countries of the organization are currently participating.

On the opening day of the 90th General Assembly, bilateral meetings of the delegation of the Uzbek NCB of Interpol with the delegations of the NCB of Interpol in Beijing and Abu Dhabi were held. During the meetings, intentions to strengthen cooperation were confirmed, and initiatives for the near future were determined.
