The Deputy Prime Minister - Chairman of the State Committee for Family and Women and law enforcement officials received appeals from women detained in pretrial detention in Bukhara

In particular, on April 30, Deputy Prime Minister - Chairman of the State Committee for Family and Women Zulayho Mahkamova to the region, a member of the Senate and Representative of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) in Bukhara region Abira Huseynova, Deputy Governor - Feruza Ibragimova, head of the Family and Women's Department, and officials from the regional prosecutor's office and the Department of Internal Affairs visited the pretrial detention centre No. 4 in the 6th regional detention centre of the Penitentiary Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. They received appeals from women prisoners and convicts in prison.
During the visit, the officials considered about ten appeals on investigative and judicial issues. They were duly registered, and measures were taken to ensure their implementation.
