Two fraudsters were extradited from Korea to Uzbekistan
In October, in Seoul (South Korea), as a result of joint operational and search activities of the NCB of Interpol of Uzbekistan, the Criminal Investigation Department of the DIA of Tashkent region and the NCB of Interpol of South Korea, our citizen, born in 1991, was arrested. He was wanted by the republic's law enforcement agencies at the international level for the commission of grave crimes provided for by part 2 of article 169 and part 2 of article 168 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Also, officers of the NCB of Interpol of Uzbekistan and the Criminal Investigation Department of the DIA of Tashkent region, jointly with the NCB of Interpol of South Korea, detained another citizen of Uzbekistan, Zh.N., born in 1957. He was also wanted through Interpol channels for committing the fact of large-scale fraud. In 2016, Zh.N., by deceiving and abusing the trust of our citizens, promising to help buy real estate in the city of Tashkent, received money and spent the money on his own needs.
Currently, thanks to the negotiations and joint operational actions of the NCB of Interpol of Uzbekistan and the Criminal Investigation Department of the DIA of Tashkent region, both wanted persons were detained and extradited to the Republic of Uzbekistan and are now ready to stand trial.
