Threats in the cyber world is a topical issue
The immediate development of information technology also causes threats in the cyber world. According to the data, in 2020 alone, the world economy has suffered more than a trillion dollars due to hacking attacks. It is growing year by year.
The conference, hosted by the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, discussed topical issues of cyber security. Representatives of the State Unitary Enterprise "Cyber Security Center", the State Inspectorate for Communications, Information and Telecommunication Technologies and the Cyber Security Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, professors, researchers, the Department of Information Technology and club activists attended it.
The Deputy Head of the Academy for the development of information technology, Major Jamshid Isroilov opened the event. He spoke about the measures taken to ensure information security in our country.
It was noted that in the current difficult period, when the issue of combating cybercrime is of great importance, systematic work is being done to improve the culture of Internet use, information security and the creation of effective mechanisms to combat cybercrime. The development of the industry, along with the widespread introduction of advanced mechanisms in cybersecurity, requires the training of qualified personnel for the system. In this regard, effective approaches to teaching in educational institutions have been established, and the knowledge and practical skills of young people in the use of IT technologies are being increased.
Experts made their reports on "Cooperation between ministries and agencies in combating violations of the law on the Internet," "Peculiarities of information technology detection of cybercrime," "Cybersecurity and the fight against cybercrime" and the opinions were expressed on the solutions.
