Cyber Crimes and Digital Forensics
On December 28, online training was held in cooperation with the Uzbek Academy of the MIA and the Almaty Academy of the MIA of Kazakhstan. Professors and teachers of the Department of Criminalistic Expertise and cadets of the "expert-criminology activity" specialization of the bachelor of full-time education attended it.
Representatives of the Almaty Academy discussed the threats that arise in cyberspace, the positive and negative aspects of the global Internet network, modern programs used to ensure cyber security, crimes committed with the help of information technologies and ways to prevent them, training IT specialists for law enforcement agencies, digital forensics in the fight against cybercrimes. They also discussed the problems in the field and their solutions in detail.
During the video communication, information was provided about the training of forensic experts at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the practical implementation of the results of scientific research, and ensuring the harmony of theory and practice.
