A delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited Uzbekistan
From July 28 to August 2, the Working Group of the National Coordinator of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Combating Human Trafficking under the leadership of Samir Garaev, the head of the Main Department for combating human trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is visiting Uzbekistan.
On July 29, the Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted a meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the leadership and members of the sub-commission on combating human trafficking. During the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation between the two countries in combating human trafficking, mainly to protect the victims of this crime. They also agreed to increase the efficiency of inquiry and investigations between the relevant law enforcement agencies on crimes related to human trafficking and exchange broader experience in this regard. The sides defined the main directions of forthcoming cooperation.
Later, the delegation visited the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Helping and Protecting Victims of Human Trafficking and got acquainted with its activities.
Currently, the visit of the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues in Bukhara city.
