Ambassadors of Uzbekistan to foreign countries visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs
The Ministry of Internal Affairs held a meeting with the ambassadors of Uzbekistan to foreign countries.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General P. Bobojonov, expressed sincere gratitude to the Ambassadors of Uzbekistan to foreign countries for their contribution to the development of the Ministry's activities in international cooperation.
The guests were briefed on the results of the Ministry's reforms in public safety and international cooperation.
It was noted that the Ministry had strengthened the legal framework for cooperation between law enforcement agencies of foreign countries over the past five years. The positive results have been mentioned in the fight against transnational crime, mutual exchange of experience and professional development.
The Deputy Ministers A. Ikramov, N.Turakhodjaev and heads of departments and divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs attended the meeting. They noted the importance of the assistance of foreign ambassadors in the development of cooperation with law enforcement agencies of foreign countries in the fight against transnational crime, the exchange of experience and training.
Following the meeting, the guests visited the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They got acquainted with the conditions created for cadets and students and the educational process. Representatives of the Ministry presented the activities of the Institute of Advanced Training of the Ministry, Medical Institutions and Academic Lyceums at the Academy.
In conclusion, the attendees identified the principles of effective use of the assistance of the embassies of Uzbekistan in foreign countries in further development of cooperation of the Ministry with law enforcement agencies of foreign countries.
