A person cultivating 262 bushes of opium poppy plants was identified in Kushtepa district
Kushtepa district. On May 17, during a search operation of the district department of Internal Affairs in the house of a woman named E.D., a resident of "Khumdon" mahalla, the officers found 262 poppy bushes in her garden.
The Investigation Department of the Kushtepa District Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under Article 270 (1) of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is undertaken.
Dear citizens! Do not plant or cultivate prohibited crops. Planting and cultivating them is illegal and leads to criminal liability.
Remember that a person who commits this crime can be sentenced to up to three years in prison.
