On May 18, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Pulat Bobojonov, held negotiations with the Minister of Home Affairs and Law of the Republic of Singapore, Kasiviswanathan Shanmugam, during his official visit to Tashkent city

It is known that during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, to Singapore on January 17, he discussed important aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the meetings held with the President of the Republic of Singapore Halima Yaqub and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

Negotiations took place to ensure the practical implementation of these tasks between the Minister of Home Affairs and Law of Singapore, K. Shanmugam and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General P. Bobojonov.

The parties discussed various risks and threats of the current day, issues of combating international terrorism and extremism, human trafficking, narcotics and other types of transnational crimes, and deepening cooperation and sharing experience.

Today, Singapore consistently ranks high in many international rankings of the rule of law and public trust in the police, and Singapore's expertise in information technology, especially modern information security, is recognized by the world community.

Hence, the parties agreed to establish a permanent dialogue and exchange of experience between the two countries ministries, exchange fast information on transnational crimes, create conditions for regular training of specialists in the field, and organize training courses on effective methods of combating cybercrimes.
