A human trafficker was arrested in Sirdarya
On March 23, officers of the Department for Combating Terrorism and Extremism of the DIA of Sirdarya region and the Department for Combating Human Trafficking and Illegal Migration held an operation in Sirdarya district.
During the operation, the officers revealed that a citizen of Gulistan, "I", born in 1993, was sending a citizen named K, born in 2002 and living in Gulistan district, to Turkey to engage in prostitution. He was detained at the Sirdarya traffic police station while driving from Sirdarya region to Tashkent International Airport. The officers filed the relevant documents.
The case is under investigation.
