The police detained a woman involved in human trafficking in Sirdarya
On December 24, the staff of the Department of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service of the Syrdarya region held an operational event in Sirdarya region.
During the operation, the officers detained I.S., born in 1978, married, resident of Sayhun town, Sayhunabad district, Syrdarya region at the Syrdarya traffic police station. She was taking K.M., born in 1984, divorced, resident of Dehkanabad town, Gulistan district, Syrdarya region, and Q.D., born in 1994, divorced, resident of Syrdarya city, Syrdarya city, Quyosh mahalla to Turkey for prostitution.
The police initiated a criminal case under Article 135 (2) (B, E) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and an investigation is undertaken.
