A fraud who posted a fake ad was arrested
23-year-old J.O., living in Sergeli district, Tashkent city, appealed to Internal Affairs. He stated that he agreed with an unknown person who posted an ad for renting an apartment in Tashkent city through the "Olx.uz" platform, transferred 9,340,000 UZS in advance to his bank card to rent an apartment for a period of 2 months, but the unknown person did not fulfil his promise and blocklisted his calls.
As a result of investigations, it was identified that 17-year-old G.D., who lives in the Yangiyer district of the Sirdarya region, committed this crime.
G.D. was prosecuted under Article 169, Part 3 "g" of the Criminal Code.
According to the law, G.D. might be sentenced to 5 to 8 years of imprisonment for the committed criminal acts.
