The Internal Affairs staff actively participated in the "Tashkent Book Fest" III Tashkent international book exhibition-fair
On November 2, the 3rd Tashkent International Book Fair, "Tashkent Book Fest", which is traditionally held at the initiative of the Information and Mass Communications Agency, started at "Uzekspomarkaz".
At the international event, industry officials from many foreign and neighbouring countries, including Armenia, Belarus, Great Britain, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and India, leading publishers, representatives of book trade organizations, local printing and publishing enterprises, public media workers and the general public are participating.
The representatives of publishing organizations and the Internal Affairs staff are participating in the event with great interest and pleasure.
On the first day of the exhibition, an opening ceremony and presentation of famous writers' books and interesting publishing industry seminars were held.
On the second day of the 3rd International Book Fair, students and cadets of educational institutions under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and employees of all specialized services actively participated. Furthermore, on this event day, creative meetings with various writers, a presentation of books and an artistic concert program were held.
Following the event, the most active book readers participating in it were given a set of books worth 1 million UZS according to the Minister of Internal Affairs order.
We can say that this gift was a very pleasant incentive for every book lover employee.
The 3rd Tashkent International Book Fair, "Tashkent Book Fest", will end on November 4.
